Hi everyone! In this blog post, you can find 4 web pages that are related to the topic of this blog and are in my opinion definitely worth visiting.
The first web page is called the project known. It is a web page that helps young people to overcome different kinds of addictions, eating disorders, and mental health problems. On this page, I have found an interesting post related to body image and social media which in my opinion is very informative and helpful. In the post, the authors write about the connection of eating disorders and body image to social media use and the post also contains options for eating disorders treatment for those who need it. This is in my opinion very beneficial because people with eating disorders often don't want to talk about it with their friends or family and they rather prefer talking about it with a stranger or an expert.

The second web page which is connected to this topic is called Childnet International. In general, the aim of this web page and institution is to make the internet a safe place for young people and children. This web page also provides its visitors with an online lesson about body image in form of PowerPoint which people can download on this web page. Before taking the "lesson" the visitors can also watch 3 short videos of young people speaking about body image and social media. Although this web page is mostly created for children, I think that it can be also very helpful and educative for teenagers and young people with body image problems created by the usage of social media.

The web page listed below is discussing the connection of body image and eating disorders to social media use. The authors write about body image and its development. They also discuss several statistics, and the good and bad roles of media according to body image. The authors are also providing some examples of negative and unhealthy media influence such as promoting extremely skinny models, and also positive influence such as positive body image campaigns done by some famous brands or companies.

This web page is a blog created by Li He who is from China and is majoring in Accounting and currently works as an accountant. On the web page, Li He has several lessons about health and the web page also contains a lot of discussions. One discussion is about body image and social media. There, Li He asks the readers to comment on this topic and provide a picture that in their opinion reflects what society thinks about this topic. I find this web page interesting because you can read about the opinions or personal experiences of different people and many of them also share links to pictures or videos related to this topic. After reading it you will be aware of different perspectives on this topic.
